Halloween Portrait Runner-Up: Garth.

I picked the photo of Marissa over this one because I found her costume to be more interesting and more fun to shoot. This one was a close second though. Garth is spending Halloween impersonating a Smith College student, which I felt was not justly represented in this photo.

Halloween Portrait: Ruocco.

Marissa Ruocco poses with a friend's bass guitar in her Halloween costume. "I'm being an 80's grindcore groupie chick because I wish I was that cool," she said. The outfit is made of pieces of clothing she already had which were altered in ways that she would not normally wear.
